Using a HIPAA-compliant secure telehealth platform, ABA and/or parent training can be delivered when there are health and safety concerns for immunocompromised children or barriers related to a remote location. Please contact us to discuss this option and what’s a best fit for your child! Virtual ABA from the direct care staff has limitations, especially with small children, so in most circumstances (immunocompromised children aside), direct care is in person but supervision and parent trainings can be conducted virtually. Assessments can be conducted virtually, but in-person assessments are highly recommended (perhaps having the BCBA conduct assessments and reassessments in person but providing supervision virtually). This could also be an option for a child whose anxiety increases when around too many people.
