Continuity of Care

Beyond the Rainbow will collaborate with other professionals in the individual’s life to ensure we are doing our part in operating in unity as a team and following through with consistency.  For example, if a speech therapist is implementing a certain strategy or even a certain language (saying, “All done” vs. “I’m finished,” signing “All done” in ASL vs. a modified form), Beyond the Rainbow will ensure we are implementing things the same way to promote progress and decrease confusion.  The professionals at Beyond the Rainbow stand behind collaboration, listening to the ideas of others, sharing insights, learning, and making team decisions; “team” doesn’t just mean Beyond the Rainbow employees, but the family and specialists working on behalf and in the best interest of the client (e.g., speech therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, pediatricians, sleep specialists, school staff, play therapists, insurance case managers, etc.).
